Michael Boschert is GIA’s Editor for Text and Permissions and has been with the company since 2004. Michael is an active musician, serving as a cantor/soloist at Old St. Patrick’s Church in Chicago, and as a freelance soloist for weddings and other events throughout Chicagoland. He has been a member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus since 2005. He is a former member of the Lyric Opera of Chicago Chorus, the Grant Park Music Festival Chorus, and The Dallas Opera.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Music degree from the University of North Texas. In his free time, Michael enjoys the New York Times crossword puzzle and watching old movies with his husband.
