Nothing Can Separate Us
Year 1 ( 2022 – 2023 )
Text:
Romans 8:14-39
Summary:
All who are led by the Spirit are children of God. Creation waits for God’s children with eager longing. The Spirit knows our weakness and intercedes for us. All things work together for good. So what are we to say about these things? …nothing can separate us from the love of God.
Call to Worship
One: God calls us.
All: And so we come—
old and young, rich and poor,
hungry and filled, hopeless and hopeful—
God gives us the gift of each other.
One: God loves us all, never playing favorites,
never turning anyone away.
All: God calls us to put our faith into practice,
and to love one another as we have been loved.
One: God is bringing an end
to all that threatens to divide us.
All: We are convinced that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come,
nor powers, nor height, nor depth,
nor anything else in all creation,
will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.
One: Nothing can separate us from God’s love.
All: We pray that nothing would separate us
from each other.
