MYSTAGOGY MOMENT:
This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
This is how. This is how the Eucharist came to be. This is how the disciples saw the love Jesus had for them. This is how Jesus showed us what it means to serve. Depending on the diocese, this is the second Holy Thursday in which we cannot partake in the ritual washing of feet. Think of what that action means to you each year. What does the act of washing someone’s feet and having your feet washed signify? Your respect for each other? Your shared baptism? Your commitment to supporting the members of your church community? How can you show that connection, that service and that commitment this year? This is how God will know that you are a disciple.
