Call to Worship
CALL TO WORSHIP
One: With what shall we come before the Lord?
All: Shall we come before God with burnt offerings?
Shall we come, bringing year old calves?
One: Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams,
with ten thousand rivers of oil?
All: Shall we give up our firstborn for our transgressions –
the fruit of our bodies for the sins of our soul?
One: No – God has shown us what is truly good.
What does the Lord require of us?
All: To do justice.
To love kindness.
To walk humbly with our God.
