Let Freedom Ring!
text: W. Michael Fortson; tune: AMERICA
This text was written to the tune AMERICA in January 2018 for a worship service during the weekend nearest to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Written as a prayer for freedom, the text echoes the words in a sermon by Dr. King calling for freedom to ring until, among other things, people of every race and nation become united in heart, mind, and soul.
