Beginning the Conversation: Inclusive Practices in Pastoral Ministry

For many Christian communities of faith, our mission statements make some mention of being a “place of welcome” or give some other allusion to inclusivity. Yet, the way our communities are experienced often communicate messages of exclusion, often because of race, gender, ability, age, socio-economic status, etc. Explore the theological, spiritual, and practical side of inclusive practice with our panelists. How can we better live the inclusive “one, holy, catholic, and apostolic” faith we profess? What are we doing right, what are we doing wrong, and what can we do next?
