Steps Toward Inclusion: Representation in Liturgical Planning

Authentic relationship is a key requirement for inclusive practice in pastoral ministry. Actually knowing the members of our community means more than just “knowing of” them. It involves hearing stories, understanding perspectives, lifting up voices, and so much more. How can our approach to planning liturgical celebrations advance inclusionary practice? What steps can we take, and what strategies can we adopt? Panelists Diana Macalintal, Andrea Ramos, and Zack Stachowski share their experiences, suggestions, and encouragement as well as a helpful assessment tool that any parish, church, or school can use.
