September 18 – The Call of Abraham
Abram is called to leave his country and kindred behind. He and Sarai set out. God promises to bless all the earth through them.
September 25 – Joseph in Prison
Joseph is unjustly imprisoned, after refusing to consent to Potiphar’s wife. God is with him there.
